Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, which began as a radio program. The five novels in the "trilogy"—which include
The Restaurant at the End of Universe;
Life, the Universe and Everything;
So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish; and
Mostly Harmless—have sold more than fifteen million copies. Developed into a television series, a comic book series, a computer game, and a feature film,
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy was also produced as a live concert featuring Douglas Adams himself.
