Judith Cummings

Judith Cummings (1945-2014) worked for The New York Times for more than 15 years and was the first black woman to head a national news bureau, serving as chief correspondent for the Times in Los Angeles. Cummings contributed to The Fabric of the Future: Women Visionaries Illuminate the Path to Tomorrow and cowrote Colin Powell and the American Dream.
